By road bike to Passo Gardena/Grödner Joch
Tour into the Dolomites offering unrivalled scenery
Road bike
The Gardena Pass is one of the 4 passes through the Dolomites and can be reached both from Corvara and from Selva di Val Gardena. It is situated at an altitude of 2,121 m beneath the mighty north faces of the Sella Mountain. The tour starts in Val Gardena and takes us first to Plan de Gralba and we climb further up over switchbacks. Through spectacular views, the road now leads beneath the north faces of the Murfreit peaks before it becomes steeper again before the bridge. On average, the gradient is 8% over 10.5 km and 560 metres of altitude. Alternatively, Corvara may be chosen as the starting point. That route is approximately 1 km shorter.
