From here, you follow the paved Valserweg towards Vals. The path initially ascends, gradually gaining elevation as it follows the stream. After a while, you reach a wooden bridge, which you cross to enter the wide forest path that leads through the woods. From this point, the ascent becomes noticeably gentler, and the path winds its way to an access road. You follow this road until you briefly reach the main road near the Untereggerhof. Continue along the sidewalk by the reservoir, from where the path leads towards the Chalets Valsegg.
