The mountain bike tour from Aldein / Lerch to Auer-Leger Alm near Jochgrimm traverses some of the most spectacular landscapes of South Tyrol. Spanning a total distance of about 30 km with an elevation gain of approximately 450 m, the route blends asphalt and predominantly gravel paths, with a consistent incline of about 10%. In addition to the physical challenge, cyclists are rewarded with the natural beauty of the Dolomites, diverse flora, and the geological uniqueness of the Geoparc Bletterbach, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Start your journey at the Gasthof Scheidner in Lerch and head east towards Lahneralm. The path takes you past the parking area of the Geoparc Bletterbach, where you can admire the unique geological formation of the Bletterbach gorge. Continue past picturesque alpine meadows and through dense forests to Auer-Leger Alm. Here, enjoy stunning panoramas of the surrounding mountains. Take the opportunity to extend your trip from Auer-Leger Alm to Jochgrimm before returning along the same route.Description to arrive at destination
Reach Aldein / Lerch easily by car via the well-maintained main road. For a more eco-friendly approach, consider taking the public bus from Auer or Neumarkt, although bicycle transport is limited to three bikes.
