Passo della Mendola/Mendelpass – Monte Penegal - Passo delle Palade/Gampenpass

These are the key data for the racing cycle tour around the Val di Non group, which links the Bolzano & environs region with the holiday region of Merano & environs. The tour through the passes is one of the most popular in the region. It offers exciting climbs, lovely roads over the passes with plenty of bends and stimulation with panoramic views from the Tessa Mountain Group across the Dolomites to Brenta. The road bike tour begins in Bolzano and leads through Frangarto, Cornaiano and San Michele across the 14 km of the wonderfully laid out road over the Passo della Mendola. From here it is 4 km to the Penegal car park and on down to Fondo. Then come the 13 km of road to Passo delle Palade. To return to the departure point you ride through Narano, Tesimo, Prissiano, Nalles and Andriano
