MTB Plan de Corones-Tour

Demanding and varied circular tour on San Vigilio local mountain. Includes some the most peaceful routes to one of the most highly developed mountains in the region. Tip: You should not forget to include a visit to the MMM Corones (Messner Mountain Museum)!

Setting off from the centre of San Vigilio, take the main road in the direction of Pieve Marebbe uphill to Passo Furcia (turning shortly behind the hamlet Curt/Corte). Just past the Hotel Jù Furcia, take a left and cycle uphill on the gravel road towards Kronplatz, first through the forest and then past the Panorama and Graziani mountain inns. Don‘t forget to take in some of the beautiful views of the highest Dolomite peaks and the giant glaciers of the Zillertal Alps! Descending, cycle first to Passo Furcia and then back to San Vigilio.
