Cislon Alm Tour Leisurely

An MTB tour in the South Tyrolean lowlands with plenty of variety. From the bustle in the valley up to the peace and quiet of the beautiful location of the Cislon Alm high above Ora. It rises up the mountain in a pleasant gradient to the former Fleim Valley railway (gravel). You cycle through meadows to reach the tranquil little village of Trodena. From here, the track climbs steeply to Cislon Alm. As a warm up, a short undulating trail leads to the wonderful location of the mountain pasture (refreshment facilities). Magnificent views over the South Tyrolean lowlands and Chiusa di Salerno. Then the fun begins! The route continues up the mountain on a steep, challenging trail with several switchbacks towards Montagna. For those accomplished in mountain biking techniques the whole route is ridable; others must reckon with pushing the bike over some short stretches. An undulating path leads back to the departure point.
