Lake Favogna/Fennberger See in Bolzano & environs

A long, but easy mountain bike circuit to the idyllic location of this bathing lake. From Termeno there is asphalt track to Sella and then the route climbs steeply to the San Valentino in Campo farms. From there, we cycle on gravel to the little village of Corona, nestling in the vineyards, where once more the route becomes asphalt. The tour leads high up along the quiet, scarcely used mountain road to Lake Favogna, where you can take a refreshing swim. So, don't forget to bring your bathing suit. There are refreshments available in the nearby guesthouse before departing again. The trail leads along a steep, but not difficult gravel path down to Niclara and Cortaccio. From here, the Castelaz Trail leads back to Termeno.
