Renon/Ritten Rocks

Renon is a fabulous high plateau above Bolzano, the regional capital of South Tyrol. Renon offers mountain bikers a tour full of variety, but take care: paths which are narrower than 2 metres are forbidden to mountain bikers. The MTB tour described here begins in Bolzano at the valley station of the Renon Cable Car. Take the cable car to Soprabolzano and to a lama breeding farm. From here, you have an excellent view of the famous Renon Earth Pyramids. On the way to Longomoso and Siffian you cross the Rielinger organic farm. Your host, Heindle does not just serve good food, he entertains with his charming patter. The route back to Bolzano takes you through Prato all'Isarco.
