Lake Carezza/Karersee Circuit

Lake Carezza in Val d'Ega in South Tyrol is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Alps. It is particularly impressive in spring and early summer. The entire profile of the Catinaccio is reflected in the turquoise waters, swollen with melt water. There is a wealth of tours and trails around Lake Carezza, one of which is the Lake Carezza Circuit from Nova Levante through the Passo Nigra and the Passo di Costalunga and back to Nova Levante. On this day tour, you will encounter a great variety of tracks and trails, which are also suitable for less experienced riders, since they often deviate onto forest tracks. You can shorten the uphill stretch considerably by taking the new Laurin lift nearly all the way to Passo Nigra. This makes the tour significantly shorter and less strenuous and it then becomes a suitable outing for a short half-day tour.
