Latemar Circuit

If you have not yet tried this, you really should! The Latemar Circuit in Val d'Ega is one of the absolute highlights in touring in the Dolomites and begins very gently in Nova Levante with a cable car trip to Frommer Alm. From there the route take you over tarmac roads or trails to the Carezza Pass and along a trail full of surprises to Moena and Predazzo in Val di Fassa. Wherever you look you have a view of the giant of the Dolomites, the Latemar Mountain. The Predazzo-Gardonè gondola lift spares you any effort on the next climb. After a rest in Baita Gardonè you take the chair lift to Passo Feudo (2,200 m) and from there, continue on trails to the Ganischgeralm and Zischgalm. At Passo di Pampeago the trail leads over the Epircher Laner Alm to Obereggen and takes you back to the starting point in Nova Levante. Tip: With the € 29 Mountain Bike Card you can use all the lifts on the Latemar Circuit!
