Start at Brenner and follow the well-marked Brenner Bike Route along the former railway line, descending gently to Sterzing. The route takes you through rolling hills, picturesque villages, and charming hamlets. Highlights along the way include the historic Franzensfeste Fortress and the serene Vahrn Lake. Passing through the Chestnut Trail, you’ll arrive at the historic Neustift Abbey and then reach Brixen.
From Brixen, the pace picks up as the path leads through the narrow Eisack Valley toward Klausen, the artistic town known for the impressive Säben Monastery. Continuing on the Brenner Bike Route, you’ll arrive at the final destination: the city of Bolzano.
