Kurt Resch is a true pioneer of mountain biking in the Eggental/Val d'Ega and South Tyrol: 25 years ago, his Steineggerhof was one of the first BikeHotels in South Tyrol, and since then Kurt has always been the star on the local scene when it comes to biking. Kurt is gifted with an innovative spirit and consistently boasts an enviable courage to break new ground. The whole Resch family possesses the enthusiasm gene for trying new things: for some years now, the hotel has not only been climate-neutral, but climate-positive, i.e. it gives back more to the planet than it consumes. The Reschs focus on plant-based, naturally 100 per cent organic cuisine.

In this BikeHotel, (e-)mountain bikers don't have to give up anything, because the BikeHotels President was the first to believe in it and takes nothing for granted! As usual, at the Steineggerhof there are a series of camps with professional mountain bikers throughout the season and excellent e-bike hire, laundry service and guided tours are offered.
